Trying to get an old Nintendo cartridge to work usually takes longer than playing the game.  Luckily, there is a solution.  The 72-pin connector on your Nintendo is where the cartridge connects to the motherboard.  The connector wears out over time, so replacing it is essential for a flawless NES experience.
