A little late on this review, but this came out while Biojunkie was in the middle of its downtime. I rented Army of Two about a week after it came out, and it was well worth the $8 I had to spend to rent it. The game follows two mercenaries named Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem on their assignments for Security & Strategy Corporation(SSC), in Afghanistan, Iraq, the USS Constellation, China, and Miami as they eventually uncover a conspiracy high up in SSC.

Army of Two is a great FPS, with your AI partner being nearly human-like in his ability. The weapon selection is great, with choices ranging from the AK-47 to MP7s to Stinger Missiles. You earn money to buy better weapons as you complete tasks assigned to you by SSC. You can order your partner to attract attention to himself so that you can bypass the enemy soldiers and achieve your objective, or you can take on the enemy yourself and have your partner achieve the objective. You can also give your partner numerous other orders, designed to either have him attract attention or fall back, with the ultimate goal to complete your mission and earn money. The graphics are above average, I would say-better then a game like Turok, but not as good as, say, Call of Duty 4. Also, the single player campaign is pretty short and relatively easy, and unless you love playing online, I would recommend just renting this one.

Biojunkie Official Rating: 8/10

This is Kolametal, signing off.
